As you can imagine, due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are a lot of changes at our facilities to ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues.
Our Teams have worked extremely hard to ensure that you can Trust in TLT knowing that we have gone above and beyond to ensure our facilities are the highest possible COVID secure premises - Let's get your wellbeing back on track!

Here is a breakdown of what to expect on your visit;
Every activity will need to be pre-booked, you will not be able to walk up to the centre without a booking as no payments will be taken on site. We are follow a 7 day booking system which means you can book your activity up to 7 days before. All bookings must be made online, via the mobile app or by telephoning our Bookings Line on 01633 627100

NHS Test & Trace
It’s critical that we help to keep everyone safe by supporting NHS Test & Trace with detecting people who have recently come into close contact with COVID-19. Containing outbreaks early is crucial to reduce the spread of COVID-19, protect the NHS and save lives. To do this we will collect your name, contact number and details of your visit. No additional data will be collected for this purpose. The accuracy of the information provided will be the responsibility of the individual who provides it. Please note that the new regulations amendments that come into force will make it obligatory for high-risk settings to collect contact details of customers, rather than the current approach of voluntary participation. Please be aware that we will need to decline access to our facilities if you refuse to participate in NHS Test and Trace. Please remember that these measures are being implemented for your safety and the safety of our TLT Colleagues.
We are proud to tell you that as part of your membership and at no additional cost, as a thank you for keeping your membership with us, we have launched a new online digital exercise platform, enabling you to exercise at home and also in our facilities. We have issued user guides on how to access this platform and full details can be found here: My Wellness On Demand
If however, as a current DD member, you don't feel confident in returning just yet, you will have the option to continue to freeze your membership! Just contact our Membership Team by email email@example.com and we will ensure your payments remain frozen for a little longer.
With regards to gym partners, if you are from the same household bubble then you are able to exercise together. We would still request where possible that you practice social distancing and inform the fitness assistant that you are from the same household, as this would need to be shown on your membership profiles.
Group Exercise classes will now take place in alternative areas at Cwmbran Stadium and Pontypool ALC to make use of the larger spaces in the Centres.
All classes using equipment will be sanitised after every use. If you are attending classes such as Yoga and Pilates, please bring your own mats where possible.
At present, we will have a revised and limited timetable while we are going through reduced capacity. A 7 day booking system is in place, so please bear this in mind when trying to book your classes. Now more than ever, it is really important that if you cannot make sessions you cancel your place ASAP. There will be so many customers trying to get spaces for each class, so please be considerate to other members and ensure you cancel your place to be able to offer it out to someone else. We will have to adopt a no-tolerance approach to non-attendance to classes. This has always been a problem at Torfaen Leisure Trust and now more than ever we need to ensure that spaces for physical activity are maximised. Our Swimming Pools will firstly be available for individual activity only. This will include Lane Swimming and some limited family private hire sessions. Please ensure that you arrive swim ready with your costumes underneath your clothes and shower at home after your visit.
Our Private Family Bubble Bookings will give you exclusive use of our pools & changing facilities for £40 per hour. Max of 10 people from your family and extended household and lead booking will be responsible for all track & trace responsibilities.
Squash, Badminton and Table Tennis will be available to book online, via our mobile app or by calling the Bookings Team on 01633 627100. Courts are bookable for singles only, with your own or extended household bubble. Unfortunately, equipment hire is not available so please ensure you bring your own.
Unfortunately, areas such as our Health Suites and various Children's Activities will be unavailable at the moment. We are working hard to get these areas back up and running and will let you know as soon as we can!
